Lipika Sud is one of India's leading interior designers. She is currently the Chairperson of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (Delhi Regional Chapter).
She is also currently an All India Governing Body Member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FLO).
Lipika is an Economics (Hons.) graduate from SRCC, Delhi University.
She did her post graduation in Advertising & PR from IIMC, New Delhi
and later pursued her Diploma in Interior Design from London, UK.
Lipika holds an LLB Degree from the Law Faculty- Delhi University.
Lipika is the Founder / Director of 'Dimension Designers Pvt. Ltd' and
Principal Designer of Lipika Sud Associates and has been practicing
Interior Design for the last 22 years (since 1989).
She specializes in Interior Design and Project Management of Corporate Offices, Hotels, Restaurants, Resorts, Retail, Residences and Multi- Location Showroom interiors and has designed several prestigious projects all over India and abroad. Some of her clients are Hyundai, Daikin, Escotel, HCL, Havells, Taj, Ericsson, Bausch & Lomb, Fuji, Bloomberg, American Express, Kirloskar Brothers & Tata Motors. She has also done several hotels, some of them are Savoy Suites-Ascot Hotels, Lalit Great Eastern Hotel (Lalit Group of Hotels), Zuari Resorts, Taj Hotel, Majestic Hotels Limited, Silver Crest Resorts, etc.
She has won several accolades and has been honoured for her excellent work in Interior Design. She is a Visiting Faculty / Guest Lecturer / External Jury for several educational institutions all over India. Lipika has also penned down several articles on Interior Design and Feng Shui and her projects have been featured across media (Print and TV). She has conducted presentations and talks at several diverse events on various Design Topics.
She has also been on the Jury for major National and International Design awards including the prestigious "Top Ten" Chairs Awards 2008 at the Promosedia International Furniture Exhibition at Udine, Italy as well as the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2009 – APIDA'09 at Hong Kong and RR Kabel –Society Interiors Award for Creative Excellence In Interior Design.
She has been recently conferred with the prestigious award of the "Interior Designer of the Year 2011" by Builder Information Bureau.
